In the wake of California's catastrophic wildfire seasons, resilience has been a top priority for emergency first responders.

Nearly a week after Hurricane Ida made landfall in Louisiana on Sunday, August 29, over 700,000 residents in Louisiana are still without power. Gas shortages in the region are leaving even those with access to generators sweltering and in the dark.

Proving once again that working together has its benefits, Footprint Project and SolarPTL have created an initiative that furthers their missions and reduces the environmental impact in the process.

Footprint Project, which helps communities build back greener after disasters, has launched a new partnership with SkyView Ventures under which SkyView has donated nine DC solar trailers in California and two DC solar trailers in New Hampshire.

In response to requests from local responders, Footprint Project activated our Solar Energy Rapid Response Team (SERRT) to support Texas's recovery from Winter Storm Uri.

On October 14th 2020, Footprint Project successfully deployed the domestic "T5" solar trailer to provide back-up power to the Citrus County Fair Emergency Evacuation Center in Cloverdale, CA.

Footprint Project deployed the T5 solar trailer for the first time at the Black Cultural Zone Akoma Outdoor Market event in East Oakland. At the event, the trailer powered two speakers successfully.
