The Superyacht Challenge Antigua was held in February for the eighth year running and the boat designed by German Mani Frers did very well. The 112ft Spiip, built by royal Huisman Yachts, won the Corsair class and also the Gosnell Trophy

The Frers design studio is a boating design dynasty based in Milan, Italy. The Frers studio was started by German Frers senior way back in 1926. He would go on to draw more than 600 boats ranging from motor yachts to ocean racing yachts.
