116 runners took on the Disney Princess Half Marathon Feb. 24, 2013 for the charity Girl Power 2 Cure to raise awareness and funds to end Rett Syndrome, a severe neurological disorder that mainly affects girls.

Dana Marie, Canadian recording artist, donates proceeds from her single "I'll Fly," written for a little girl battling Rett Syndrome, to Girl Power 2 Cure, a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness and research funds for Rett Syndrome.

Girl Power 2 Cure, dedicated to raising awareness and research funds for Rett Syndrome, placed 17th out of 500,000 charities to win a $20K grant. Rett Syndrome is a severe, potentially reversible, neurological disorder that primarily affects girls.
