Representatives from the government agency visited Greenwood's nurseries on 19th June to inspect the first batch of native trees and discuss its plans for planting as part of hand-selected community interest projects across the UK

Greenwood Plants is delighted to announce that it has been awarded 'Plant Healthy' certification as part of its ongoing commitment to biosecurity, following an audit of its six UK nursery sites.

Greenwood Plants won three awards, including overall 'International Grower of the Year' at the annual AIPH awards, held at IPM Essen, Germany on 24th January 2024.

Greenwood Plants is delighted to announce that it is now growing 100% peat-free across all six of its nursery sites in the UK.

Greenwood Plants has been named 'Peat Free Grower' at the 2023 Horticultural Trades Association Grower of the Year awards, held at the ICC in Birmingham on 5th October.

Greenwood Plants is delighted to have been awarded £2.7 million of funding by National Highways to grow three million native trees from seed, over five years.

Greenwood has enjoyed its most successful year, exceeding growth targets with record-breaking orders, sales and deliveries. It's shown great progress towards its goal of reaching Net Zero, proving it's possible to grow sustainably on a large scale.

Through the course of this year, Greenwood Plants has introduced many new pioneering sustainable practices, which will contribute to its long-term goal of reaching Net Zero and play a part in positively impacting climate change.
