The KSU Museum's original exhibition of the screen legend’s personal collection of performance clothes opens Sat, Oct 2, 2010. Spanning K Hepburn's 60+year career, it features costumes from stage, screen and television, and runs to Sept 4, 2011.

Robert Osborne, the Host of Turner Classic Movies and Ann Rutherford, who played "Carreen" in Gone With the Wind, will meet fans and sign autographs from 11 am – 1 pm on Sat, Sept 25 to support the fashion museum and its 25th anniversary.

Classic Tracy-Hepburn romantic comedy to be shown at 2 PM at the Palace Theatre followed by an “After-Rib” Reception at the Cleveland Urban Design Collaborative as MOVIE DATE WITH KATE continues to partner with regional vintage movie houses.

Kent State Fashion Museum’s much anticipated exhibition on Katharine Hepburn (Oct 2, 2010 - Sept 4, 2011) will be complemented by special courses designed by KSU's Women’s Studies on the film legend's career, iconic status, life, and influence.

The KSU Museum, Akron Civic Theatre and Akron, OH Italian-American Festival partner on July 10 for big screen afternoon showing of classic SUMMERTIME (1955, dir David Lean) set in Venice to attract fashion & movie fans, and “All things Italian!”

On Katharine Hepburn's birthday (May 12), a sold-out fashion show by Dillard’s Inc. was applauded by 250 while raising $8,000 for the Kent State University Museum. The event also introduced the fashion museum's Hepburn exhibit opening Oct 2, 2010.

Akron, OH: The Charles Lee Salon & Spa in Akron will provide “Haircuts for Haiti” from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 5, 2009. Proceeds go to the Summit County chapter of the American Red Cross to help earthquake-devastated Haitians.
