HomeAid Atlanta and Phoenix Pass recently dedicated a newly constructed complex in Conyers. The complex will provide long-term transitional housing for families who are experiencing temporary homelessness in the Rockdale County area.

HomeAid Atlanta’s 2010 Essentials for Young Lives Drive takes place April 26 through May 3. The ninth annual drive is a community-wide effort to collect essential baby items, such as diapers and baby food, for homeless infants and toddlers.

HomeAid Atlanta and Tapestry Youth Ministries recently dedicated a newly renovated duplex which will serve homeless young mothers and their babies. The ribbon cutting and dedication ceremony marked the official completion of renovations.

HomeAid Atlanta recently announced the recipients of its fourth annual awards at the Installation and Awards Reception of the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association.

More than 20 volunteers recently participated in a HomeAid Care Day at New Life Maternity Home in Lithonia, Ga. During the Care Day, volunteers completed much-needed repairs at the home, which serves homeless pregnant teen girls.
