The Humber Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP)

Businesspeople from across the Humber are being invited to join the new Humber LEP Forum. The LEP Forum was launched on Friday by the Chief Secretary to the Treasury, Rt Hon Danny Alexander MP, at a breakfast event attended by 250 people.

The Rt. Hon. Danny Alexander MP, Chief Secretary to the Treasury, was the guest speaker at the launch of the new Humber Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) Forum held in Willerby, Hull.

A further £1billion of Regional Growth Funding (RGF) available to businesses and public/private partnerships hoping to create new jobs and make a significant impact on their local economies.

The Rt. Hon. Danny Alexander MP, Chief Secretary to the Treasury, will be the special guest of honour at the launch the new Humber Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) Forum on Friday 9th March.

To coincide with National Apprenticeship Week, being held this year from 6th to 10th of February, the Humber LEP is seeking business leaders interested in becoming advocates for Apprenticeships in the Humber sub-region.

The members of the Humber LEP North Bank sub-Board have now been fully-ratified following their first full meeting held on Thursday 19th January.

UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) has shown clear signs of recognising the value of the newly formed Local Enterprise Partnerships by signing a Memorandum of Understanding with the Humber LEP.

The Humber Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) is today launching the first phase of its Humber Infrastructure Fund, which will fund capital investments to help drive local economic growth across the Humber.

John Longworth, the new Director General of the British Chambers of Commerce is making a new year visit Hull on Friday 6th January for a series of meetings with the Hull and Humber Chamber of Commerce, Humber LEP and Associated British Ports.
