The IJIS Institute welcomes the National Fusion Center Association (NFCA) as its newest Alliance Partner.

The Board of Directors of the IJIS Institute announces the creation of a new Sustaining Member program. BAE Systems has joined the IJIS Institute as the organization’s first Sustaining Member.

The IJIS Institute will initiate a review of its strategic plan, originally developed and approved in 2008, thanks to the donations from several of the IJIS Institute Board of Directors.

The IJIS Institute releases the Revision Assessment for the Incorporation of Fire and EMS Functions into the Law Enforcement CAD Functional Specifications. The document incorporates fire and emergency medical services functions.

IJIS Institute Technical Advisory Committee examines EXI as an emerging technology applicable to integrated justice and public safety data sharing in the context of the Justice Reference Architecture and the National Information Exchange Model.

Analysts International Corporation received the Member Appreciation Award at the Winter 2010 Industry Briefing.

Nominations open for the annual info. technology award to recognize innovation that has contributed significantly to the advancement of integration and interoperability in a justice, public safety, or homeland security project.

The IJIS Institute is pleased to welcome Ms. Kathy Gattin to the staff as a senior project manager, overseeing the Statewide Automated Victim Information Notification project as well as projects related to corrections information sharing initiatives.

The IJIS Institute attended the highly-regarded, annual, invitation-only Cisco Public Services Summit 2009, co hosted with the City of Stockholm, Sweden.

The IJIS Institute announces the release of a new document, NIEM Conformance for RFPs. The document is intended to be a resource for justice and public safety practitioners to help ensure RFPs meet best practices for information sharing.
