International safety organization IMC Clubs announced this week that it is releasing to the public a new social media offering for IFR rated pilots.

Steve Sullivan (IMC Club member since November 2009 and the member of the Board of Directors of that organization) and his daughter Delaney, 13, is undertaking the Flight Around America.

In a letter e-mailed and addressed to: Bureau of Postsecondary Education in Sacramento, California; IMC Clubs is strongly opposing the legislation putting financial burden on the flight instructors operating in that state.

IMC Clubs, a volunteer mentor program for pilots to promote safe flying, has retained international law firm Nixon Peabody LLP. The firm will serve as general corporate counsel as IMC Clubs look to expand to new markets and regions.
