A Slovak-British Ball is being held on 22 February at the Cafe Royale in the hope of forging stronger relationships between Slovak and British businesspeople and for the Slovaks to shed their image as 'cheap' - albeit 'good and reliable' labourers.

Slovaks in the UK are unhappy with the popular public perception of them - cheap labour but they don't drink much tea! In response a Slovak-British Ball is being held on February 22 at the Cafe Royale in the hope of adjusting that perception.
