Keeping Us Safe has developed a unique program to help combat older driver accidents in Florida and across the country.

Pacifica Senior Living Belleair (formally known as The Villas of Belleair) has been selected the host the Florida’s 2012 Inaugural Class of the “Beyond Driving with Dignity” Professional Certification program, scheduled for March 15, 2012.

Keeping Us Safe is a national organization based in Cleveland, Ohio that provides services to older drivers and their families, and to professionals that may find themselves involved with the issue of an older driver’s diminishing skills.

Keeping Us Safe has unveiled its newest educational program titled “Driving Under the Influence of Dementia”. Created by a retired State Trooper, this program is being made available (at no cost) to law enforcement agencies nationwide.

Keeping Us Safe will be holding its inaugural west coast “Beyond Driving with Dignity’ training and certification course in the greater Los Angeles area on March 1, 2012. This is the first time the course has been offered in California.
