20,000 Books Delivered to 85 Rural Schools in the Country This Month

Bluffton organization's April 25 event promises immersive journey to Africa

Libraries for Kids International delivered thousands of books to primary, junior secondary and secondary schools in Tharaka Nithi County in central Kenya in January and February.

Libraries for Kids International, a locally based international organization that supplies books to school libraries in Africa, announced its 2026 board of directors, which includes at least seven members from South Carolina.

The organization sent more than 1.4 million books to African primary schools.
