Life Skills for Children

Milton Keynes is the location for the first of a series of community safety days to be run by Partnership Against Crime and Life Skills for Children. Specialist in the field of personal and community safety

A group of 20 children aged between 7 and 11 yrs from St Monica’s Catholic Primary school are leading the way and tackling the subject of personal safety head on.

History has proven that music is a powerful communication tool. For thousands of years people all over the world have used music to communicate with each other, be it for religious and spiritual reasons or just as a way of sending a message.

Life Skills for Children from Milton Keynes has claimed that the Government do not care about the personal safety of our kids.

A new initiative in personal safety and communication skills for young people has been successfully developed and is now ready for National deployment through schools, sports and community groups.

Along with other organisations of knife and gun crime Mamaa is backing and working with Life Skills because we believe this could be part of the solution to the terrible epidemic of violence among our young people. www.mamaa.org

We believe something has to be done urgently to tackle the increased anti-social behaviour that is leading to the growth of knife related crime. The Media is constantly asking for ideas on how to solve these problems in society.
