Top-rated preparedness program teams up with top-rated school district to bring TEEN CERT course to the public this November

The FEMA Youth Preparedness Council (YPC) works to promote individual and community preparedness, and encourage youth, individuals, families and organizations to work together and take action to prepare for emergencies potentially involving youth.

The Wentzville Fire Protection District has partnered with the Mid America Teen Community Emergency Response Team to enhance community education and strengthen mutual aid between area municipalities and organizations should a disaster occur.

On Saturday, March 1, 2014, Wentzville Holt High School in Missouri will graduate the school district’s first high school TEEN CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) class in St. Charles County.
