Okaloosa students and teachers are reaping the rewards of hard work and dedication as students have once again performed extremely well on the statewide FCAT and End of Course Exam assessments.

For the first time, Okaloosa County Schools will live stream graduation for our deployed military members.

The Okaloosa County School District (OCSD) is pleased to announce its nominees for the 2015 Commissioners Business Recognition Awards Program.

Fort Walton Beach, FL – CenturyLink, Inc. (NYSE: CTL) today announced the winners of the CenturyLink Clarke M. Williams Foundation’s Teachers and Technology grant program.

This is a collaborative effort between the University of Florida and our local school districts.

Henry Kelley, Program Director of Community Affairs, Okaloosa County School District (OCSD), was named as OCSD’s representative to the Military Interstate Children’s Compact Commission (MIC3).

Students will have the opportunity to win a $250 scholarship by attending this valuable conference Feb 21 from 1 to 4 PM at the CHOICE Institute school in Fort Walton Beach.

The Okaloosa S.C.I.E.N.C.E. logo will be unveiled at a brief ceremony and press conference this coming Tuesday, February 18, at 1pm CST at the Jackson Guard Station pavilion. We invite members of the media to attend.

Mary Esther Elementary School and Niceville High School each receive $2000 for robotics projects and competitions.

Okaloosa County teachers to be trained on STEM project with representatives from Harvard's Encyclopedia of Life, the Smithsonian, and other grant partners.
