100 Black Men of Long Island, Inc. & Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Inc. and the Jewish Relations Council Long Island (JCRC-LI) collaborated by holding a joint press conference to raise awareness and combat health care issues

100 Black Men of LI, Inc. teamed up with Health Plus to present turkeys to families in need during the upcoming Thanksgiving Holiday. The turkeys were presented to Bishop Lionel Harvey to provide for families in need in the surrounding area.

On Nov. 7th, 2011 the 100 Black Men of Long Island, Inc. appoints & pins Kevin Byrd to serve as Health & Wellness Chairman to raise awareness of activities that African American can pursue which lead to healthier lives and combat health disparities.
