Q1 2014 was again the most active for IPOs in years. Biotech heavy trend continues. The average IPO returns however, dropped to 25% from 2013's lofty 46% - poor follow through was notable.

Q2 2013 was the most active for IPOs in the last 6 years. 40% of the deals were private equity backed. This biotech-heavy IPO quarter included highly visible named like Quintiles and SeaWorld.

Q1 2013, continued to show the strong growth seen in 2012, both in the IPOs and Secondaries. The US IPO pipeline remains very strong with 41 companies entering the registration process and 11 deals priced above their indicated range.

Continuing with some influence by the JOBS act, 3Q 2012, the most active in 5 years, brings a resurgence of quality companies coming public, and priced well.
