New Educational Program Launched By Quassy Amusement Park In Connecticut

Organization dates back a century. New England Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (NEAAPA) is marking its centennial this year.

MIDDLEBURY, Conn. – Quassy Amusement Park, one of the area's largest seasonal employers, is now hiring for the 2013 season, which opens April 27.  Applications are being accepted 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Quassy Amusement Park has been busy during the off-season doubling the size of its waterpark and installing a state-of-the-art laser maze. The property opens for its 105th season on April 27.

Two contests for students have been announced: model roller coasters and amusement rides; Free registration open now.
