Doris Day, Entertainment Icon and Animal Activist, has been in the public limelight since the mid 1930's. In all that time, she was never celebrated in the US with a fansite. The ones she did have were in England or Australia. That is about to change.

As World War II ended in 1945, hundreds of men in the Armed Forces were anxious to get back home. A song was released that became so identified with that period of time that it has represented it ever since. That song is "Sentimental Journey".
