Wild servals are quite common in rural areas of Africa and seem to be able to coexist with humans. Perhaps this has some relevence to the fact that servals seem to do so well as pets.

Savannahs are produced by Servals and Savannah cats, Savannahs marked with a filial number. We produced directly from a Serval/Savannah Cat cross are the F1 generation, and they are over 50% serval if a when a Savannah queen is used in the breeding.
