Artist Elizabeth Shanahan announces the release of a new collection of original paintings inspired by the landscape of the Appalachian Mountains this past Monday. Of her work, Shanahan says: I make abstract mixed media paintings inspired by nature.

Collection will debut at elizabethshanahan.com on midnight, October 1st.

This weekend, at the Downtown Asheville Festival of the Arts, Elizabeth Shanahan will partner with Lee Shore Rescue, using art to save lives. Shanahan's work focuses on the visual relationship between emotion and our natural surroundings.
