More than 30 participating Starwood Hotels across the Middle East say “Thank You” to hard-working cab drivers in the region.

During the hour of Iftar, representatives from participating Starwood hotels including Sheraton Riyadh Hotel & Towers distributed Iftar packs of food and beverages to cab drivers as they drove through the main entrance of each hotel.

From November 1, 2010 to January 31, 2011, Starwood properties across the Middle East will come together to support the cause by collecting plastic caps from bottles used at their hotels & raising funds by selling them to plastic recycling companies

The 12-hour stationary bike marathon started at 8AM and drew riders from the UK Embassy, British International School of Riyadh, SANGCOM, BMI & Lufthansa German Airlines, and in-house guests.

The mini-football match will start at 9:00PM, 12 October 2010 at the Sheraton Riyadh Hotel with 6 teams are expected to compete on this 4-day event. The football match was organized as part of the “Road to Awareness 2010” campaign of the Starwood
