Leading Ladies will be hosting an Open Mic Dedicated to victims of domestic violence at Caribbean Soul on July 17th at 7pm. The fundraiser seeks to bring awareness to issues surrounding domestic violence, through the voices of survivors and artists.
Several organizations in Brooklyn have formed a coalition in partnership with The Center Against Domestic Violence, to launch MISSION UPLIFT to uplift the spirit, hope and self-esteem of domestic violence victims who live in shelters.
