On November 1, 2011, Stacey Spear of S&S Painting was elected Sergeant at Arms of the Painting and Decorating Contractors of America (PDCA) Richmond Chapter. Mrs. Spear has been an active member of the PDCA since 2009.

In October 2011, S&S Painting announced they were looking for ‘the worst interior wall color in Richmond’ and are offering the winner of this contest a $500 gift certificate towards the repainting of their room.

In April 2011, S&S Painting, LLC was selected by Style Network to appear on their Emmy Award winning show, Clean House. The all-women crew of S&S Painting of Mechanicsville was chosen to complete the interior painting of the 2,800 square foot home.
