Stanbridge College Vocational Nursing Instructor Anne Garrett publishes “My Tummy Hurts,” a children’s book teaching kids to not fear hospitals, doctors, nurses or medical equipment.

Stanbridge College staff raises funds to supply 50 elementary school children with eyeglasses from the Low Vision Center at St. Mary’s Hospital in Long Beach, California.

Stanbridge College recently ran a two-week-long donation drive gathering baby food and supplies for the families of Wounded Warriors. The college partnered with Words of Comfort, Hope and Promise to distribute the donations.

Stanbridge College Vocational Nursing student Lisa Daniels was honored at the First Annual Senior Care Humanitarian Awards Ceremony for her work with the elderly at a skilled nursing facility in Orange County.

Stanbridge College donated $1,000 for a charity drive at the Irvine Pet Complex. The charity drive benefited the Irvine Animal Care Center and helped purchase pet food and supplies for homeless animals.

Over 25 homeless people in Orange County received donations of suitcases and duffel bags from Stanbridge College’s community service program to help protect their belongings in the winter weather.

Stanbridge College community service initiative recently partnered with Mercy House sending volunteers and donations to the OC Emergency Cold Weather Shelters and transitional housing programs.

Stanbridge College, with the help of guest speaker, OC District Attorney Tony Rackauckas, recently graduated 125 Vocational Nursing and Information Technology students preparing them for the next step in their professional and educational careers.

Stanbridge College students and staff prepared and served homemade meals to over 95 veterans in transitional homes throughout Orange County on Christmas Eve.

Stanbridge College volunteers served warm meals and donated sleeping bags to homeless and low-income families for the holidays.
