The Plaza Cinema Café of Downtown Orlando alongside the Orlando Hispanic Film Festival and Florida Media Market, announce that the Orlando Hispanic Film Festival (OHFF) will host their 2009 Film Festival at the Plaza Cinema Café.

Now in its 3rd year, the Orlando Hispanic Film Festival has organized another year of recognizing Hispanic-affiliated independent films.

The Orlando Hispanic Film Festival (OHFF) for the second year has coordinated for local artists to perform at this year’s Memorial Middle School Multicultural Day Celebration on May 16, 10am - 2pm. The event is FREE.

The third Orlando Hispanic Film Festival (OHFF) will expand from a three day to a five day format, September 16 – 20, 2009.

As part of the Orlando Hispanic Film Festival’s (OHFF) Educational Reach Program, the OHFF will begin its FREE 4 part workshop entitled “Enlighten, Camera, Action”, how to make a public service announcement (PSA).

Orange County Commissioner Mildred Fernandez, District 3, will deliver the opening address at the 2008 Orlando Hispanic Film Festival on Friday, Oct. 10, at 6 pm at the Premiere Cinemas 14 in the Orlando Fashion Square.
