We applaud the work done by so many to protect the more than one million children in New York City's public schools, which has led to the removal of the former director of The Coca Cola Company as Chancellor of the public school system.

Cathleen Black should not be chosen to be chancellor of the New York City public school system. Her leadership role at Coca-Cola shows that she lacks the integrity and compassion to serve as Chancellor or a role model for young people.
