Imagine Prep at Surprise

Students who participated in Imagine Prep's KPRP Broadcasting Camp visited over 20 different radio stations and met with numerous broadcasting professionals including DJs, producers, news directors, and promotion specialists.

Imagine Prep at Surprise 9th and 10th graders are invited to attend a three day field trip to the YMCA’s Camp Surf located in San Diego, California. During the trip students will develop teamwork, leadership, and effective communication skills.

Imagine Prep's Robotics Camp is currently enrolling participants. During this 10 day camp students will design and program a Lego Mindstorm Robot to navigate an obstacle course and move an object from one place to another. Camp begins July 5th.

Imagine Prep at Surprise announces openings for KPRP Boot Camp and Screenwriting Boot Camp. Both programs offer students in grades 7-12 the opportunity to learn more about the broadcasting industry. Camps run June 28-July 2nd.

Recently, Imagine Prep at Surprise held the first ever induction for the Imagine Prep at Surprise chapter of the National Honor Society (NHS).

Imagine Prep freshman, Couree Berry commentated for the Phoenix Mercury exhibition game against Team China. During the game Berry was provided color commentary or assisted the play by play announcer by filling time when a play is not in progress

Recently, members of Imagine Prep’s junior high Builders Club attended a meeting of the Kiwanis Club of Surprise to solicit help with future projects and the Kiwanis came through in a big way!

Imagine Prep’s summer activities include summer school, summer camp programs, and weekly social activities. Many summer camps still have openings. Imagine Prep has also organized a full schedule of FREEsocial activities open to all area students.
