The categories for 2011 include the coveted CWC / WGI LNG Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Industry, plus two new awards - LNG Technological Innovation Award and LNG Executive of 2011.

Hon Chris Hartcher MP, Minister for Resources and Energy, Government of New South Wales will be officially opening the CWC/IGU Australia Gas 2011 conference at the Four Seasons Hotel, Sydney on 31 October.

The three day Exhibition will provide a launch pad where international companies can showcase the present, the new and the future technologies available to the Kingdom in order to help develop local content.

Endorsed by the Ministry of Water and Electricity and in Partnership with Moya Bushnak, the Saudi Water & Power Forum will be held at the Hilton Hotel in Jeddah, on the 4-6 December 2011.

Mr Teo Ser Luck, Minister of State for Trade and Industry and Mayor for North East District CDC, Republic of Singapore, has been announced as the official guest of honour at the World LNG Series: Asia Pacific Summit 2011.

With much of its oil for export, Ghana’s economic growth is climbing at a rapid rate, and many are looking to follow suit. Local content has since been a hot topic for many African countries.
