The Leelanau School

During this unexpected time of distance learning due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, schools have had to pivot nearly overnight. A particular challenge for boarding schools, who deliver a 24 hour, residence-based curriculum.

Winter Term creates a pause between the normal 8-period schedule students experience in the Fall and Spring semesters. During this five-week immersive academic term students have the opportunity to experience two engaging and exciting courses.

Through daily school-wide mindfullness practice, The Leelanau School is working to help its students develop the habits of mind that offset rising anxiety.
