The Printworks are offering you a complete weekend of Irish fun with the Printworks as everyone in Manchester once again celebrates their Irish roots for Manchester’s Irish Festival culminating with St. Patrick’s Day on Sunday 17th March.

The Printworks is to launch Manchester’s biggest and best singing competition ‘The Printworks Unsigned’ with open auditions on 23rd March from 12 p.m. Talented singer/songwriters and musicians are invited down for open auditions.

Hard Rock Cafe Manchester puts out a cry for budding musicians to sign up as this year’s Hard Rock Rising competition launches, the world’s largest and most far-reaching battle of the bands contest.

Virgin Active in The Printworks has kicked off a canned food collection this week in association with local charity Barnabus and all those donating will receive a free thank you gift from Virgin Active too.

It has just been announced that The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey will be shown in 3D at the Odeon Printworks, the only IMAX screen of its size outside of London. The film opens in cinemas on 13th December 2012.

Hard Rock Cafe in The Printworks are this year doing something different for their annual Pinktober event. The event involves volunteers rowing 2,100 miles (the distance around the edge of Britain) all in the warmth of Hard Rock Cafe Manchester

The Printworks will once again play host to over 600 groaning, screaming and shrieking zombies. The big charity Zombie Walk will start at The Printworks at 6 p.m. on the 28th October before winding its way through the streets of Manchester.

The new film Now is Good had its star studded UK premiere at the Printworks Odeon Cinema Manchester last night followed by a Q&A with director Ol Parker and Hollywood actress Dakota Fanning.

Odeon The Printworks together with CINEMALIVE presents the World’s biggest cinema dance party! Friday 31st August 2012 Odeon in the Printworks will be taken over by one of the biggest DJ’s; Fatboy Slim performing Live from the Big Beach Bootique.
