ULTRAPURE WATER journal plans to conduct a conference on high-purity water treatment at Singapore International Water Week at the Suntec Exhibitiion Centre. Abstracts are being accepted for the co-located meeting slated for July 6-7.

The lead article in the March ULTRAPURE WATER On-Line focuses on pharmaceutical industry trends, and how they could impact the water business. Other articles examine pharmaceutical water treatent, particles, and scale prevention in water systems.

ULTRAPURE WATER Pharma slated for April 12-13 in Philadelphia will cover key issues for pharmaceutical water treatment. The session will include speakers from the FDA and Ernst & Young, as well as those involved with pharma water treatment.

ULTRAPURE WATER's On-Line store offers one of the largest libraries of books dedicated to industrial and high-purity water treatment. Books cover the major treatment technologies and highlight the unique needs of several industrial water users.

Abstracts are being accepted for technical papers for ULTRAPURE WATER Pharma/Emerging Technologies 2011, to be in Philadelphia April 12-13. Among areas covered will be pharmaceutical water and new water treatment technologies.

Semiconductor fabs are a key market for the water business, as reported in the December ULTRAPURE WATER On-Line. The latest issue also examines treatment concerns in power generation and pharmaceutical uses, and considers boiler water treatment.

ULTRAPURE WATER Micro 2010 in Phoenix Nov. 16 and 17 will have an ITRS Roundtable on semiconductor water treatment. Participants will get the chance to meet with semiconductor industry endusers and others active in microelectronics water treatment.

The U.S. EPA is expected to issue a new rule revising the existing Total Coliform Rule after a comment period ending in October. The proposed rule is highlighted in the current on-Line issue of Ultrapure Water that is now available.
