To ensure that the girl child in Malawi shapes her future through education, Urunji Child-Care Trust is providing free solar reading lamps. The pilot project was launched in Lilongwe rural east covering the Nathenje zone.

No, not really. Actually today we have 5983 reasons so we planted 5,983 trees at Mwatibu Primary School. As we take action against global warming, we are spending much time planting and caring for trees and the environment.

Urunji Child-Care Trust gave hope to children in Nathenje, Malawi by giving out dresses and britches for boys. Over 200 children benefited from this initiative and it is an on-going partnership with LDfA which will target orphans and the vulnerable.

Urunji Child-Care Trust 'I Have a Net' initiative has benefited 600 children so far with insecticide treated mosquito nets.
