Branches of the Southeast Ventura County YMCA are looking to add to its childcare staff before the 2016-17 school year.

The 62-member Youth & Government delegation from the Miller Family YMCA of Newbury Park presented, debated and voted on 13 legislative bills on a variety of topical issues during “Bill Night” on November 18 at Sycamore Canyon School.

The Conejo Valley YMCA will be hosting winter camps in Thousand Oaks and Moorpark.

Keeping with its decades-long tradition, the Simi Valley Family YMCA will begin selling Christmas trees on December 2.
