The holidays will be brighter for many local women thanks to Ashworth College and Dress for Success. Ashworth, a leader in distance education, announces the strategic partnership with the area not-for-profit that assists women with career needs.

Ashworth College’s online Student Forum, the Politics Forum has quickly grown, with active members discussing everything from political candidates to issues personally impacting students on national and regional levels.

Ashworth University students share their experiences as distance education learners and how continuing their education has made an impact on their lives. The contest supports National Distance Education Week, November 10-14, 2008.

Rising tuition costs and declining financial aid leaves many students and parents with questions. To support National Distance Education Week, Ashworth University administration and staff will host an online discussion in the Ashworth Student Forum.

With Ashworth’s new online Writer’s Club, students have the opportunity to hone their professional writing skills as well as take a break from their studies and let their creative juices flow.

Ashworth University students are exploring a different type of crime scene, an online discussion forum in a club format, where like-minded students converge to discuss issues, news and trends pertaining to forensic science.

Ashworth University continues its community service endeavors through its support the Atlanta Community Food Bank. A leader in distance education, Ashworth will conduct a food drive the weeks of October 26 and November 2.

Ashworth University will be on hand to speak with Georgia high school students when it participates at two upcoming area College Fairs produced by Community Hope Outreach Program Corporation (CHOP), November 14 and 15.

Ashworth University continues its community service endeavors through its support of the 2008 Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk, Saturday, October 25, 2008.

Ashworth University will be on hand to speak to Atlanta area college bound high school students as part of the Community Hope Outreach Program Corporation (CHOP) "CHOP It Up/UBASH Weekend” on October 3, 2008.
