California Strawberry Festival

About 150 artisans from throughout California showcase their original works.

Entries will be evaluated by a judging panel looking for creativity and the best use of a strawberry design.

If you love strawberries, the 38th Annual California Strawberry Festival is the place to be.

An estimated 1.5 million strawberries will be consumed over the two-day festival.

Known for its array of strawberry-themed food and beverages, the festival has also established itself as one of the top destinations for unique and eclectic artistic designs.

Gio's generative art design was one of 154 entries from around the country. He takes home the $2,000 grand prize and VIP tickets to the festival.

The festival is taking place May 18 and 19 at the Ventura County Fairgrounds in Ventura.

About 150 artists and crafters from across the county showcase their original works including paintings, sculptures, ceramics, children's toys, accessories, photography, textiles, outdoor furniture, jewelry and specialty foods.

The deadline to submit an entry into the 38th Annual California Strawberry Festival Artwork Contest is fast approaching.

The artist with the winning strawberry-themed design will receive $2,000 and VIP tickets to the Festival.
