Melaniesha Abernathy and Khalif Brown recently published their works in the Villanova Junior Law Review. Both Abernathy and Brown are undergraduate students at Cheyney University and enrolled in the university's Keystone Honors Academy.

Cheyney University ranked number one of the college units of the NAACP. For the past four years, the CU unit has been in compliance with national standards and recently registered over 1,000 students to vote on the university’s campus.

CU Student, Walter Lewis, placed first at the NSF HBCU-UP Research Conference. The project is the result of his research conducted at the Brookhaven National Laboratory during his internships in the summers of 2006 and 2007.
