On 11th October, 2012, Bengal Olympic Association President, Mr. Ajit Banerjee, inaugurated the Association of Schools for the Indian School Certificate (ASISC) National Basket Ball Meet at The Heritage School Kolkata in a grand way.

From 4 engineering departments and 240 students in the year 2001 to 9 engineering departments and thousands of students in the year 2012 was the fathom transformation made by Heritage Institute of Technology (HIT) Kolkata.

On 8th August 2012, Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata, organized a lecture on Higgs Boson- God Particle which was addressed by Prof. Bikash Sinha, Homi Bhabha Professor, Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India.

“Think out of the box and create jobs rather than becoming mere job seekers. Be yourself and become Entrepreneurs,” said Prof. Basab Chaudhuri, Registrar, University of Calcutta, who was invited as the Chief Guest, in COMPASS 2012.

MBA department of Heritage Institute of Technology organized orientation programme for new students delivered by corporate leaders form Calcutta Stock Exchange & Pepsico
