HIT Kolkata organized a workshop today for the teachers on the topic “Changing role of teachers” sponsored by TEQIP Phase-II and was addressed by Dr. Harish Chaudhary, Assistant Professor, Department of Management Studies, IIT Delhi.

On 17th July, Department of IT, Heritage Institute of Technology organized a 3- Day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Wireless Networking” which was inaugurated by Professor Ajoy Kumar Ray, Vice Chancellor (VC), (BESU).

Today his Excellency, Governor of West Bengal, Shri M.K.Narayanan and the First Lady, Smt. Padmini Narayanan inaugurated the new International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB) programme at the Heritage School on its 12th foundation day celebration.

From 10th May to 12th May, the Heritage School Kolkata organized their Annual Cultural Fest “Youthopia-2012” in the campus.

The Heritage School Kolkata have been named as winner in teach A Man to Fish's School Enterprise Challenge, with their school Enterprise beating off competition from all over the world to take the prize in the "Planet" category in 2011.

“Right attitude towards money making is the key to happy life,” said Mr. Rishi Khator, an eminent Chartered Accountant in a workshop organized by the Heritage Academy, Kolkata for staff and faculty members on 4th May.
