Modern Skate & Surf in Royal Oak, Mich. presents the 15th Annual Michigan Amateur Skate Contest Series on Wednesday, June 27 at 9:30 p.m., and Saturday, June 30 at 9 p.m. This event welcomes all ages and costs $20.

Modern Skate Park in Royal Oak, Mich. will host the “Wild in the Streets 2012” Benefit Show on Thursday, June 21, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. This after party event costs $10, and all proceeds benefit Detroit’s RideIt Sculpture Park.

Emerica footwear presents “Wild in the Streets 2012” on Thursday, June 21, 2012. On National Go Skateboarding Day, “Wild in the Streets” will gather skateboarders of every walk of life to ride on the city streets of Detroit.

Royal Oak Modern Skate Park will be hosting the first ever U.S. Scooter Championships. The weekend event will start with the beginners competition on June 9 and finish with the amateur and pro competition on June 10. All riders and teams are welcome.
