Satori is the most exclusive art series created by John Ross Palmer, the Hardest Working Man in the Art Business® and Founder of the Art Movement of Escapism. It is released in three phases over a ten year period: 2009, 2014 and 2019.

The University of South Carolina Honors College is bringing acclaimed American Artist John Ross Palmer of Houston, Texas to Columbia to mentor the students recently accepted into their inaugural Artist in Residence Program.

Each year, Artist John Ross Palmer travels to a new international destination to create a prized, historic and celebrated art series. The journey is underwritten by a prestigious group of art patrons known as the First Class Club.

Going into its sixth year of his empowering, grassroots effort to forever destroy the stereotype of the struggling artist, Palmer is proud to announce the members of the 2014 Escapist Mentorship Program: Sue Donaldson, Lulu Lin and Joseph Reinholtz.

On Saturday, January 4th, after a year-long effort of hosting events and raising funds, Artist John Ross Palmer has broken ground for the construction of the Escapist Artist Gallery & Studios.

Since 2010, John Palmer Art has honored a notable non-profit as its Charity of the Year. In 2014, the business will support the League of Women Voters Education Fund through raising funds and increasing awareness of its empowering mission.

After a year of monumental successes, John Ross Palmer was honored and humbled to win Artist of the Year at the 2013 F.A.C.E. Awards honoring Houston's top GLBT persons in fundraising, civic leadership and entertainment.

Writers in the Schools, ranked the No. 1 arts education organization in Texas by the National Endowment for the Arts, was John Palmer Art's 2013 Charity of the Year. It benefited tremendously this year from his time, energy, promotion and funding.
