Artist John Ross Palmer's Escapist Mentorship Program is a grassroots, entirely-free effort to forever destroy the stereotype of the struggling artist. Going into its landmark fifth year, the Founder of Escapism proudly announces the 2013 Escapists.

Over his 15 years as a professional artist, John Ross Palmer has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for charity through his donation of funds, art, time, hard work and promotion. He has now named his 2013 Charity of the Year, WITS.

John Ross Palmer hosted his historic annual events, An Afternoon & Evening of Escapism, in October 2012. These events feature the graduation ceremony of the current class of Escapist Artists and the gallery's most star-studded event on the calendar.

Artist John Ross Palmer has a tradition of honoring his cherished art collectors each September with an amazingly fun, exclusive Collectors' Night at his Historic Heights Art Gallery that features a rousing game of John Ross Palmer Jeopardy.

Escapism Founder Artist John Ross Palmer and his husband Ryan Lindsay will take their art gallery, John Palmer Fine Art of Houston, Texas, to exhibit for a second consecutive year at the 18th Annual Los Angeles Art Show.
