The Kingsport Office of Small Business Development & Entrepreneurship (KOSBE) today announced 29 area small businesses as finalists for the 19th Annual KOSBE Awards.

The Kingsport Office of Small Business Development & Entrepreneurship (KOSBE) is accepting applications and nominations for the 2013 Annual KOSBE Awards from KOSBE clients and Kingsport Chamber members and non-members alike.

Kim Dykes, President and Owner of Dykes Trucking, was just presented with the prominent 2013 SBA Entrepreneurial Success Award. Dykes was greeted and personally recognized by Walter Perry, District Director of the SBA Tennessee District Office.

Aundrea Wilcox has developed a free Rural Outreach Counseling Program to serve small business owners in Sullivan, Hancock, Hawkins, Hamblen, and Grainger counties. Business owners can meet with Wilcox to discuss various business counseling needs.

Financial assistance will be provided by the Small Business Administration (SBA) to business owners and homeowners who suffered from the recent Tennessee severe storms and flooding.
