Students in all five schools of Apache Junction Unified School District have enjoyed enriching arts experiences thanks to a partnership with the Gold Canyon Arts Council.

Arizona Historian Bill Harrison will present "The Harvey Girls" at 7 p.m. , Monday, March 13 as part of the Arizona Lecture Series. The lecture will be at the Performing Arts Center at Apache Junction High School, 2525 S.

Jason Hutchens, the head baseball coach and physical education teacher for Apache Junction High School, 2525 S. Ironwood in Apache Junction, has been named the school's Athletic Director for the 2023-2024 school year.

Apache Junction Unified School District will conduct kindergarten registration and host a fun kick-off event for incoming kindergartners for the 2022 –2023 school year on Feb. 28 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Desert Vista Elementary School, 3701 E. Broadway Ave.

In an effort to recruit top candidates for numerous job position, Apache Junction Unified School District is hosting three Job Fairs on Feb. 11, March 20 and April 1 from 8:30 to 11 a.m. at the AJUSD District Office, 1575 W. Southern Ave.

Student thespians tackle the Crusades in a fun and irreverent way for the production of "Spamalot" at 7 p.m. Feb. 16 and 17 at the Performing Arts Center, 2525 S. Ironwood Drive in Apache Junction. Tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for students.
