Rosh Hashanah is also referred to as the "day of judgment,". The days between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur are viewed as an opportunity for the Jewish community to repent and ensure a good fate. Today, let us all reflect on how we are living.

Each morning, I grab my coffee and several newspapers, as well as my iPad and sit on our back deck and read. I read a variety of newspapers and web sites to gather the various angles on stories in order to educate myself on the issues of the day

I occasionally get these “chain emails” that people want me to pass along for a variety of reasons. For good luck or even divine intervention, however, this one struck me as a little odd.

So, here is my “Motivation Monday” question for you, especially parents of young men. Has the pendulum gone too far? Has decades of “fighting for equality” for young women now become a bias against young men?

Motivation Monday with Kevin L. McCrudden Many Americans still love to fly the flag and wear red, white and blue. Many families will celebrate with parades, bar-b-ques and fireworks, but what does it all mean?

Father’s Day. A day to give thanks to our fathers and those that have given us guidance and protection as we grow up. For young men, our mentors and examples of how to be “men.” But what about those that do not have positive role models?

The Commencement asks graduates to focus not on “what you’re going to be when you grow up,” but rather a higher calling of “who you choose to be and how you choose to live your life.” Will premiere on iTunes June 1, 2012.

Kevin L. McCrudden, "Mr. Motivation" is scheduled to speak at the State University of New York at Brockport Leadership Conference this Sunday the 19th. Mr. McCrudden is the only motivational and leadership speaker to have a day passed by Congress.
