Classic cars and charity lots will share centre stage at the ‘Pride & Joy’ auction at CarFest North hosted by Silverstone Auctions in aid of BBC Children in Need on Sunday 9th September.

Cholmondeley Castle in Cheshire plays host to CarFest North on 8th and 9th September and once again Silverstone Auctions will be helping to raise money for BBC Children in Need with its ‘Pride & Joy’ car auction.

Silverstone Auctions’ ‘Pride & Joy’ classic car sale, which formed part of the CarFest South extravaganza, has raised a fantastic £55,000 for the BBC’s Children in Need appeal.

A 1960 Morris Mini Minor and a 1967 Austin Mini Countryman will be just two of the fantastic lots being offered by Silverstone Auctions at the ‘Pride & Joy’ car auction at CarFest North on 8th and 9th September, in aid of BBC Children in Need.

If one car sums up the spirit of the ‘Pride & Joy’ charity car auction at CarFest then surely it’s a 1975 MGB GT Jubilee which has been owned by the same family nearly 40 years.

Possibly one of the most desirable lots at CarFest South – a 1964 VW Spilt Screen Dormobile Campervan - will be auctioned with ALL the sale proceeds going to BBC Children in Need.

The clock’s ticking for entries to be submitted for consideration into the ‘Pride & Joy’ car auctions at either CarFest South on 25th and 26th August or CarFest North on 8th and 9th September.

With a sales rate of 89 percent of the classic and road cars on offer, along with the sale of a further 13 competition cars, Silverstone Auctions achieved a fantastic premium inclusive total of £1.1m at its latest event, the Silverstone Classic Sale

Jaguar enthusiasts will be ‘purring’ with delight at the Silverstone Auctions’ Classic Sale on 21st July thanks to an eclectic mix of 11 road going examples from perhaps the most iconic of all British marques.

The pinnacle of historic racing is represented at the Silverstone Classic Sale on 21st July courtesy of a superb 1953 Cooper Bristol Grand Prix car.
