Ventura College Foundation

The Ventura County Community Foundation (VCCF) awarded $192,556 to the Ventura College Foundation to help support the Ventura College's Veterinary Technology Program.

The foundation awarded 400 scholarships (including 8 new scholarships) to 228 applicants. Its lending library and veterans' textbook program provided textbooks to 602 students including 53 veterans.

Esmeralda Juarez, Ventura College Foundation's Weekend Marketplace supervisor, was named a Ventura Chamber of Commerce 2021 Hometown Hero.

The changes are designed to remove barriers to applying. The revisions are effective immediately.
