West Sound Academy's Frodel Gallery presents Landscape & Spectacle, a collection of paintings by Doug Dammarell, on exhibit from August 28, 2012 through October 1st. WSA will host a gallery reception for the artist September 20 from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

West Sound Academy's choir and performance club sang at the school's eleventh annual commencement exercises. Each 2012 graduate had the chance to have "the last word" as they thanked family and friends and told stories about their years at WSA.

Two West Sound Academy (WSA) students won prizes in the Kitsap County Bar Association's 2012 Law Day essay contest: Gab Vogt, a 10th-grader, won 1st prize in the senior division and Hailey Hunter, a 9th-grader, won 2nd prize in the junior division.

West Sound Academy (WSA) is hosting international students for the 2012-13 school year through the U.S. Department of State's cultural exchange program. WSA is seeking host families interested in taking these students into their homes.

Thirteen Russian students from Gymnasium 10 in Novosibirsk, Siberia, along with two adult chaperones, arrived in Poulsbo on March 9, 2012. The students will attend classes at West Sound Academy for 2 weeks and stay with families in the Kitsap area.
