West Sound Academy

West Sound Academy (WSA) begins sales today for a fundraising raffle, with cash, travel, and personal technology prizes. Proceeds will be used to purchase additional computers, software, and audio-visual equipment for the school.

Children and teens in the North Kitsap area have the opportunity this summer to study visual art and pottery under the guidance of a college art teacher, thanks to a collaboration between West Sound Academy and Northwest College of Art.

West Sound Academy has received a Terry Husseman Sustainable School Award from the Washington State Department of Ecology. The $1,000 grant will be used to continue the school’s organic vegetable garden project begun last year.
