The students in the after school program are excited to bring joy to the elderly for the holidays.

Our mission is to improve the future of the youth and the community. We are here to assist and with the help of America’s Second Harvest, we can make a difference in the lives of those who need assistance. This is a journey worth taking.

Thirty two report cards were collected at the J.C. Coleman Program, and all averages were B’s. The variety of opportunities provided to these kids had an impact on their grades.

The J.C. Coleman Foundation, Inc. is getting its wish list ready for another holiday outreach project to clothe the homeless during the Christmas season.

There are two types of memories I will never forget out of my whole experience working here. Each one had there own reason for being memorable. The Oatland Island trip because of the way the kids acted on the walk and the face painting activity.

Tutoring in an after school program and being a camp counselor can be a satisfying experience when you put your heart into it. You can impact lives and inspire someone. You teach, learn, laugh, cry, and love. .

Currently the J.C. Coleman Foundation, Inc. is busy with various fund raisers, activities, and as usual, our tutorial and enrichment program held at the John S. Delaware Center.

My testimonial is not about one child in particular, but a group of middle school-aged kids we decided to take to the beach on a cloudy, windy June afternoon in 2009.

I started working at The J.C. Coleman Foundation a few months after I graduated high school. When I started working here I thought it would just be like any normal job.

The J.C. Coleman foundation is an After-School Dropout Prevention Program that caters to the at risk youth in the Savannah GA, schools.
